  • Coordinated presentation of statistical models and data for widespread understanding and use.
  • Conducted formative and summative research for various cancer-related web sites, utilizing in-person focus groups and remote usability testing.

In-Q-Tel

  • Performed needs assessment for various groups within the intelligence community.
  • Reviewed or designed a variety of products, prototypes and presentations, particularly with regard to finding complex patterns in data.

Care Science

  • Led concept development, with a distributed team, of a pioneering medical records online access system.

Discover Financial Services

  • Performed requirement analysis and user-interface design of call-center software used by 5,000 account and collections managers.

Elsevier Science

  • Conceptual design and project management for a medical publisher's website, including search, personalization and transaction functions.

Novartis Consumer Health

  • Helped create Lotus Notes-based global corporate communications and information system.
  • Performed advisory services for knowledge management strategies.

Joint National Intelligence Development Staff (JNIDS)

  • Designed analyst workstation for shipboard intelligence officers that Booz, Allen, Hamilton later estimated saved the Navy $43 million in training costs.

Gale Research

  • Created library-oriented, information-rich CD ROM interface design for both PC and Mac environments.

Freddie Mac

  • Led cross-functional teams through the conceptual design process of the user interface for a complex, business-critical system.
